Blakeney, once a port of some importance in medieval times, has largely retained its period charm but is now only accessible to small craft and is a popular centre for yachting and birdwatching. Blakeney is located on the North Norfolk Coast, just North of the small market town of Holt.

The village has a strong identity, and is a thriving and active community. There is a small supermarket, delicatessan, fishmongers, and chandlers, pubs and a post office as well a range of shops for holiday makers.
Blakeney is popular with dinghy sailors, bird watchers and walkers, and you can get a real feel for the area by taking a trip to Blakeney Point to see the seals.
