In this time of uncertainty with the progression of the COVID-19 outbreak, Blakeney House can assure you that your safety and comfort remain our highest priority. Our thoughts are with those who are affected by this virus and those who are caring for them.


We Clean. We Care. We Welcome.

We have stepped up precautionary measures throughout the Hotel as the safety of our guests and employees is paramount to us. We take the utmost care to ensure every stay with us is safe, clean and comfortable.


We Deep clean

All areas are deep-cleaned to ensure safety and comfort for our guests. Our measures include:

• Rigorous cleaning and sanitisation of guest rooms.

• Frequent sanitisation of high-contact points, such as stair banisters, door handles, reception area, bathrooms and communal rooms.

• Hand sanitisers placed at guest contact areas, such as reception and communal spaces.


We Have Adapted

We have adapted Blakeney House to offer:

• Set times for each room to come down for breakfast at an allocated table, tables will be served a pre-ordered breakfast and cleared once they are finished and left the table.

• Where possible and with guests consent rooms will be serviced whilst residents are at breakfast to minimise staff and guest contact. if you wish to not have your room serviced we respect your wishes.

• All of our tables are set up for social distancing regulations and guests will be placed in 1 of our 3 dining areas to again limit contact.

• Our large garden has also been set up with social distancing in mind, so each and every guest feels safe and welcome.


We Provide

• Medical masks and gloves for our employees.

• Regular training of our employees ensuring proper hand hygiene and awareness of COVID-19. This is vital to help combat the spread of viruses and the health of our employees and guests.


We Implore

We implore anyone, guest staff or otherwise who has been in contact with Blakeney House to let us know if any COVID-19 symptoms arise before, during or after or stay so we can take the correct measures to keep further guests and employees safe and well.


We Care

We care for our guests and employees by introducing additional measures to safeguard their wellbeing. Our employees have been briefed on the guidelines provided by the World Health Organization and local health authorities. Management are ready to render assistance to any guest that may feel unwell with social distancing guidelines.

We conduct daily meetings with our employees to review any relevant situation.

We welcome our guests into Blakeney House with the same warmth and hospitality we have always done. While the COVID-19 outbreak is a precipitously changing and fluid situation, we are committed to keeping you informed and to care for you.
